Game Changer

For many women, the interview outfit is one of the most mediated and difficult to get right. Let's face it, first impressions are paramount in an interview, so as you walk through that door you want to essentially exude a sense of confidence and suitability. Personally, many questions run through my mind when pondering over this contrary outfit: is this too tight? Is this too short? Am I showing too much leg? Am I too dressed up? Is this too conservative? After much practice I have come to realise that if you get the staple pieces right then there is no going wrong. This being: a tailored black pant or skirt,  a 'cigarette' pant is my personal favourite, a structured blazer, a blouse or shirt, and a black heel (preferably ones you can walk in) all then accustomed to your own personal taste and style. There you have it, a uniform for a fail safe interview ensemble. However, in the end you have to dress true to your individual style, be your real self and if they don't love that then its their loss.
